MSP Doors open at 8:50 am –North Entrance of the A wing (MSP wing)
Please make a habit of being on time! It is a smoother transition for your child to enter the classroom of 12 students versus All School Devotions with 100 students.
Parking:
Mustard Seed Preschool student parking needs to be in the back of the church building. All MSP students will use the rear entrances to the building. (West side and North side) See the back of your child’s student placard for more information.
Morning drop- off:
The North Entrance door will be opened for you to walk your child to their class at 8:50 am.
Afternoon pick-up:
There will be a pick-up carline for pick up after school. Anyone picking up a MSP student MUST have a placard in their windshield in order to use the pick-up line. If there is no placard, or parents choose to pick up in person, they will need to park and enter through the rear entrance of the church, not the A wing North Entrance. In the afternoons, that entrance is for teachers taking children to pick up line ONLY. Again this plan is for the safety of ALL of our MSP children.
Devotions – begin at 9 am in El Pueblo, which is Rooms 114 – 115 on the Preschool Hallway. Devotions are a time when we as a school give our “first fruits” to the Lord. It is a time for singing, learning the catechism set to music, and a brief Bible teaching. All staff will be present as well as all children.
Things to remember about MSP devotions
1) You child’s teachers will walk their students to El Pueblo for devotions at 9 am.
2) If you arrive after 9 am, please be aware that you will need to walk your child to devotions in El Pueblo. You can enter during singing time to put your child with their teacher, but may not enter during teaching time. If you come during teaching time we will ask you to wait until devotions are over to bring your child to their teacher. Devotions are from 9 am – 9:20 am each morning.
3) We ask that the parents show courtesy during devotions and not hold conversations during this time. If you need to talk, please go to the gathering space right down the hallway.
4) Parents are welcome to join us for devotions by standing in the back. There will be limited chairs and a “spillover” area outside our devotions room. Due to limited space, we ask that strollers be kept outside the El Pueblo room. You are welcome to bring in younger children as long as they can do their best to not talk during the teaching time. J
Safety:
Your child’s safety is our number one priority! For this reason we are asking all visitors to sign in and out during the school day at a marked Visitor Sign In from 9:30 am until pick up time. This table will be at the MSP Office entrance of our school. Unless you are in the school hallway for drop off or pick up, we ask that you sign in as a visitor and wear a visitor name tag. This way teachers and staff can know who the adults are that are on our hallway. This is for all children’s safety.
Both entrances to the MSP Awing are equipped with magnetic locking doors. The doors will be unlocked in the mornings from 8:50-9:30 a.m., and then again for afternoon pick up from 1:00-1:30 p.m. Any other time during the day these doors will be locked. If you need to enter the wing during the day you may use the call boxes at either entrance and we will be able to let you in. We would prefer that the North entrance (the one that you enter in the mornings) be used if at all possible. This is the main entrance used for MSP. Again, this is for the safety of all MSP students and staff.
